Our laboratory program encompass unique fundamental and applied research related to functional materials with distinct crystallinity, chirality and porosity suitable for organic electronics, spintronics and energy storage devices. Our research themes involve synthetic engineering of molecular architectures such as chiral nanographenes, 1D graphene nanoribbons, and 2D framework materials through bottom-up synthesis. We explore new manifolds of chemistry and physics through ultra confined 2D capillaries fabricated using two dimensional materials.
Research topics:
Conjugated Polymers
Molecular ribbons
