Our laboratory program encompass unique fundamental and applied research related to synthesis of functional organic materials with distinct crystallinity and chirality suitable for organic electronics, photovoltaics and spintronics. Our research themes involve synthetic engineering of innovative chiral nanoribbons and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) through selective functionalization and inducing chirality. We explore new manifolds of bottom-up synthesis of nanoribbons using confined reactors which are fabricated using two dimensional (2D-) materials.
